Who remembers how exciting it was in school when field trip day came around? The Malvern Historical Society is having a field trip of our own to visit our sister historical society at Magnolia.
Our next regular monthly meeting will be held at the Isaac Miller Inn (Taggarts Ice Cream Parlor and Restaurant) located at 107 South Main Street in Magnolia.
Our gracious hostesses for the evening will be providing a tour of the restored Miller Inn for those in attendance. For this particular meeting, we will be gathering at the Isaac Miller Inn at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017. We will not be meeting in Malvern at our building during the month of May.
So, please, join us in an evening of fellowship at the Isaac Miller Inn with other lovers of history. Be sure to bring a few extra dollars to be able to indulge in some of Taggarts well known ice creams and other delicious eats. The eatery occupies the first floor of the restored inn. Our plans are to have a bite to eat and chat followed by the tour.
We would like to have a head count to allow those hosting us to better prepare for the evening, so please comment here or on the Facebook page posting announcing this event to give us an idea of how many to expect.
